Zohra is the founder of AquaPhoenix Builders, a licensed, woman-owned restoration company driven by compassion, resilience, and purpose. As a first-generation immigrant who came to America determined to build a better life, Zohra has navigated countless hardships and barriers with unshakable heart—and built something extraordinary from the ground up.

With decades of experience in construction and home services, she brings both technical precision and deep emotional intelligence to every project. Her mission is rooted in protecting families, restoring homes, and helping others find stability during life’s most disruptive moments. Whether guiding a restoration project or comforting a client, Zohra leads with empathy and strength, ensuring every person she serves feels seen, supported, and safe.

As a mother and fierce advocate for her team and community, Zohra’s leadership is personal. She works tirelessly—often before dawn and long after others rest—because she believes in lifting others, and she won't stop until the people around her are thriving.

In her rare quiet moments, Zohra finds joy in hands-on carpentry, crafting everything from backyard play structures to custom-built bookshelves for her daughter. These personal creations reflect the same love, care, and intention she pours into every home she helps restore—always building with purpose, always building with heart. 

Alfonso Topete

Executive Admin Coordinator

Alfonso is the heartbeat of our office—family-oriented, community-minded, and deeply committed to helping others when it matters most. With a passion for restoring not just buildings, but the sense of unity and care that defines a strong neighborhood, Alfonso approaches every call with urgency, empathy, and purpose.

Eagerly awaiting to have his first child, Alfonso brings that same protective instinct to every water, fire, or mold emergency. His mission is simple: minimize disruption for families and workplaces by swiftly connecting customers to our expert technicians—ensuring help is on the way without delay.

Off the clock, Alfonso is a passionate soccer fan. Whether he’s watching a match or leading our dispatch team, he brings the same intensity, focus, and heart—always playing to win for the people we serve. 

K.C. Williams

Technician

With an always-bright smile and a heart for teaching, K.C. Williams is the kind of teammate who lifts everyone around him. A proud Cypress College graduate, K.C. is a natural educator—humble, supportive, and always eager to share knowledge with his peers. He believes in leading with heart and helping others grow through hands-on teamwork.

His journey into construction began with a summer job while still in school. He quickly fell in love with the field and never looked back. Since then, K.C. has played a key role in the repair, remodeling, and restoration of numerous commercial buildings. When he laces up his steel-toe boots and straps on his toolbelt, he’s all focus and fire—working with unmatched precision until the job is done right.

At AquaPhoenix Builders, K.C. brings not just skill, but soul. For him, restoring homes and workplaces isn’t just a job—it’s second nature. He’s the kind of technician who turns every project into a masterclass, and every space into a safe haven.

Jimmy Le

Technician

Jimmy brings a strong background in environmental science and real-world field experience to the AquaPhoenix Builders team. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Environmental Studies, Jimmy is passionate about protecting homes, workplaces, and community spaces from the hazards of mold, sewage, and environmental contamination.

He has contributed to major recovery efforts, including the Palisades and Altadena fire zones, where he supported field operations and final safety inspections. During his time at Tetra Tech, Jimmy honed critical skills in environmental fieldwork, public communication, and safety compliance—expertise he now applies to every restoration project with care and precision.

Jimmy’s mission is simple but powerful: to help restore safety, comfort, and peace of mind—one project at a time.

Moises Reynosos

Technician

Moises brings decades of experience managing complex projects and is known for delivering top-notch service with care and precision. As a technician, he is deeply committed to ensuring that every home and workplace he serves is safe, clean, and structurally sound.

Meticulous and hardworking, Moises treats each project as if it were his own. As a proud father of three daughters, he understands firsthand the serious impact that water, fire, mold, or sewage damage can have on families and businesses. His mission is to help customers return to spaces that feel as fresh and safe as new.

Yasmina Cronin

Chief Joy Officer

At just 11 years old, Yasmina brings more wisdom, warmth, and light than most adults twice her age. Her leadership journey began in 2021, when she and her family faced a major water loss in their home during the height of the COVID pandemic. Forced to relocate to a hotel for an entire year, Yasmina showed remarkable resilience, grace, and compassion beyond her years. That experience shaped her deep empathy and commitment to helping others feel safe, seen, and supported during times of disruption.

Today, as AquaPhoenix Builders’ Chief Joy Officer, Yasmina is our heartbeat — always leading with kindness and reminding us why we do what we do. She is known for checking in on technicians, offering heartfelt encouragement, and keeping the CEO (her mom) on her toes with gentle but firm boss-lady energy.

Yasmina’s peers often turn to her for comfort and guidance. One classmate called her “like a therapist... very calm and gives good advice,” and another classmate's mother wrote:

“Yasmina’s support and care truly meant a lot... it’s a reflection of the wonderful values you’ve instilled in her.”

When she's not reading, solving math problems, or playing hockey, gagaball, or pickleball, you can find Yasmina thinking up ways to make people feel loved. Her title may say Chief Joy Officer, but to us, she’s also our North Star.
